I think because the oxygen was expanded.

I think the lid was expelled out because of the oxygen which joins with fire so that made it expand.

The lid of the combustion chamber was expelled out becouse the air that were inside expelled

Hi AM! Yes 😊Remember to check spelling “becouse”–> BECAUSE and also remember air is singular so we would say the air that WAS instead of were!!

I think the lid of the combustion chamber was expelled because the air inside the “tube” expanded, the air didn’t have space.

I think the lid of the combustion chamber was espelled out becouse air freshener is flammable and when it iteraced with the lighter it did a reaction expelled the lid.

Hi Jose!
Yes, it is true that air freshener is flammable but what specifically happened to the air inside the container? Listen one more time at minute 1.12 to 1.21😊
Spelling:
becouse –> because
iteraced –> interacted
espelled –> expelled

I think the lid was expelled out because the oxygen insides expands because it doesn’t have enough space inside the tube.

Hi! Yes it is true that a reaction occurred with oxygen 😊but what exactly happened to the oxygen? Lets listen to minute 1.12 to 1.20 to find out!!

I think that when it comes into contact with the lighter, the oxygen expands and, as there is little space inside the tube, the lid comes out.

The lid of combustion chamber was expelled out because the air didn’t have too much space to expand, so it provoked the ejection of the lid from the combustion chamber.

Inside the tube (AKA “reaction chamber”) we have a mix of fuel and oxygen.
When the ignition point is reached using a lighter, a very fast combustion of the oxygen-fuel mix happens, resulting in a lot of hot gas.
Hot gas tends to expand so it blows out the lid.

The lid of the tube is expelled out because the oxygen that is inside expands and produces the energy which makes the lid to come out.

This experiment is about combustion. The lid of the combustion chamber comes out because the combustion chamber contains oxygen and, when he turn on the lighter, the air inside expands. and, because of the combustion, the lid was expelled.

JDH-6ºA: I think the lid was expelled out because when Rob heated the fuel it made a chemical reaction with the oxigen and the gases expanded. The force of the expansion pulled the lid out. Something similar happens when people uses a cannon to fire a cannonball; inside the cannon there’s oxigen, fuel (gunpowder) and the cannonball. When they heat up the fuel, it ignites and makes a chemical reaction with the oxigen. This makes the gases inside to expand and sends the cannonball flying at a tremendous speed.

I think that the lid was expelled because in the combustion the fuel warms the oxigen, then the oxigen expanded and it pulls out the lid.

What happened was that he put fuel in the tube and then put a lighter through the bottom of the tube.
What you get with this is that the air expands.

This experiment is simple but, it is very interesting, and it explains how combustion works.
THe lid of the combustion chamber was expelled aut because, the air that was inside expanded and that makes that the lid was expelled.

In this experiment we can see how combustion works.
First, in a combustion chamber fuel is added inside the tube and then you put the lip on it, later you burnt it in the botom and the fuel tryes to expands but the lip prevents it so the fuel ejects it strongly.
This video is very interesting and I think that it can help for future space engineers.

Hi MSM! Im so glad that you found this video interesting 😊You have the right idea here! Recall that it is the “air” instead of “fuel” that is expanding and because there is no more space for the air to expand, the lid is expelled!
